Community Activities include:
- Tribe – Industry-specific groups to meet new people, connect with those that are in similar roles and fellowship.
- Spark – Speakers come to share their faith journey in the marketplace or ministry or hearing from current and past NDGT teams.
- Breakout – Unconference format where teams get to pick a topic they want to work on and work on it.
- #HACK – Community of coders, designers, marketeers, project managers, and social entities gather to hack for social impact
SOCIAL INNO FEST 2018
Singapore’s first ground-up social innovation that allows every person or organisation, big or small, to have the chance to benefit from social innovation. No challenge statement is too small to warrant a new angle to re-examine it.
If we accumulate the large variety of challenges and use cases faced by our beneficiaries today, we can create a large platform, bringing in the community & youths, inviting technology experts as mentors, and partnering with sponsoring bodies like the Government or Venture Capitalists (VCs). The community & youths can be our innovation engine, guided by tech expertise, and enabled by financial support from the sponsoring bodies, to invent, design and build solutions to some of the challenges faced by our beneficiaries today.
